Fall is officially here and you know what that means…lots of family fun to be had! We’ve got you covered on all the fall fun in Mississippi from the top of our state to the bottom.
In this guide you’ll be able to find activities and attractions spanning across the state. Each listing contains contact information for you to easily find more information if needed. If we missed anything, please share in the comments section at the end. Check out the activities below!
Cedar Hill Farm is welcoming you to check out their tractor drawn hayride, corn maize, pumpkin patch, festival treats, hay fort, pony rides and more. Their Pumpkin Patch starts on September 22, 2018 and will continue until November 3, 2018. No reservations are needed for General Admission. Admission includes entry into the farm, a hayride out to the Pirate Ship, Corn Maize & Pumpkin Patch, the Petting Zoo, the Chicken Show, the Education Station, the Pig Races, Cedar Hill Rail Road, the Hay Fort, the Hay Maze, Giant Slides, Kiddie Zip Lines, fishing in their catch and release pond and use of the play and picnic areas. Pumpkin season is officially in effect at Merry Christmas Tree Farm in Nesbit. Visitors can take free hayrides to check out their inventory of pumpkins, cornstalks, and corn. Their gift shop will also have Game Day, College Football, Fall and Halloween wreaths for sale. To learn more information, visit their website.
Visit the Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo’s annual Pumpkin Patch and experience their hayride, corn maze, face painting and more. The festivities begin on October 1, 2018 and will last until October 31, 2018.
Bull Bottom Farms is the place to be for fall fun for the entire family. Their season opening weekend begins September 29, 2018. Visitors can experience their corn maze, pumpkin patch and several fall activities such as the magic carpet slide, pig races, hay jump and corn hole, cow train and more. Parking is free and reservations are required to use the private birthday tents.
The Wise Family Farm’s Pick-Ur-Own Pumpkin Patch is open now until November 4th. General admission is $11 and includes a wagon ride, U-Pic pumpkin, Corn Maze, Farm Playground, Animal Barnyard and Hillbilly Golf. There is also an on-site Pumpkin Painting Station where visitors can paint their chosen pumpkins for $2.

Admission to the farm is $11 per person, with children 18 months and younger free. Some of their attractions include a jumping pillow, the pumpkin patch, pony rides, a petting barn, the Pumpkin Patch Express, super slide and wagon rides. They also offer homemade treats. The 159th Mississippi State Fair begins on October 3rd and will take place until October 14th at the Mississippi State Fairgrounds. This annual family fun event features rides for all ages, food, games, performances and more! Gate admission is $5 (children under 6 are free) and parking is $5 per vehicle. Admission and parking is free from 11 am – 1 pm during the weekday.
Bailey Haunted Firehouse

Bailey Haunted Firehouse is a premiere haunted attraction in Mississippi. According to their Facebook page, the haunted attraction is open every Friday and Saturday from 7 pm – midnight during the month of October. They will have a special opening on Halloween from 7 pm – 10 pm.

The Resting Place pumpkin patch opens on September 21st until the end of October and includes hay rides for all ages, an educational tour about horses, a tour of their chicken houses and swinging on the oldest oak tree on the farm. Admission is $10 and will include a trip to the pumpkin patch and your choice of a small pumpkin. More information can be found on their website.
Park After Dark

Enjoy spooky science and family fun at the annual Park after Dark event. The Mississippi Museum of Natural Science (MMNS) has partnered with the Mississippi Children’s Museum (MCM) and LeFleur’s Bluff State Park to host Park after Dark. At this spook-tacular event, you can create creepy crawly crafts, go trick-or-treating through both museums, and enjoy the evening’s activities while wearing your costumes. One night, one ticket, two museums! MCM, MMNS and LeFleur’s Bluff State Park seek to provide families with a safe and fun environment to celebrate fall festivities.

This is an annual attraction that features an old family house owners claim to actually be haunted. This year, haunted hay rides will be added to all the other activities. It appears to be open every Friday and Saturday during the month of October but you can check their Facebook page for specific dates and price information.

Farmer Jim’s Pumpkin Patch opens every weekend for the entire month of October. The cost of admission varies depending on the activity you’ll like to experience. The activities include corn mazes, pumpkin patch and a haunted maze. They also have a spooky, haunted maze if you’re into that kind of thing!

Treat Street is a family-friendly, fun Trick-or-Treating event at The Township. Make your way from one end of The Township to the other, visiting each participating business. (Look for the Treat Street signs in the window) You’ll be delighted by the costumes and candy. And some merchants are offering some “sweet” discounts. We’ll see you there!
The Lazy Acres Pumpkin Patch is open from September 28th – October 28th and features wagon rides, the pumpkin patch, a 4-acre corn maze, their giant jumping pillow, a Mississippi Mine Slide, a Gold Mine for toddlers and little ones to play in 2 tons of loose kernel corn and so much more. Admission is $9 on Fridays and $10 on Saturday and Sundays. Children 2 and under are free but admission does not include pumpkins. For more information about their fall fun, click here.
Lazy U has fun for the entire family. Their fall fun offers include a corn maze, farm animals, a giant tire swing, hay rides, a duck race and more. A full list of fun and a map of the farm as well as recent event flyers can be found on their website.
Admission to the McClain Pumpkin Patch is $5 and the pumpkin patch will open from October 1st through November 3rd. The activities include a hay maze and slide, horseshoes, sack races, corn hole, a photo prop area and more.

The Rankin County Chamber of Commerce presents the annual Treat Street! This event is taking place on October 25th at the Clyde Muse Center from 5PM to 8PM. Kids 12 and under can trick or treat for 5 tickets. Tickets will be on sale at the event and will be $1/ticket. We will have carnival games and photo opportunities with your favorite princess, prince or superhero. There will be a discovery truck zone and a dunking booth!

Located in Southeast Mississippi, Mitchell Farms invites you to start your family fall traditions with them. Their Pumpkin Patch and Daytime Maze is open now until November 10th on Saturdays and Sundays. Their fall fun includes wagon ride tours, corn maze, Cinderella pumpkin, tractor slide racer, animal barns and more. Admission is $12 for people ages 2 and older. Seward Farms is open for fall fun – but only on Saturdays. Their fall activities include a corn maze, pig races, golf, hayrides, a giant jumping pillow and more. All fall fun will take place on the farm between September 29th and November 3rd. For more information, visit their website.

Diamondhead United Methodist Church hosts an annual pumpkin patch with this year’s pumpkin patch opening October 2nd until October 30th.

Southern Promiseland Farm is known for their corn mazes and this year’s season has officially begun. To keep up with hours of operation and admission information, check out the farm’s Facebook page here.
The A&W Farm pumpkin patch is opening in October and pumpkins will begin at $5. Information on their website is limited but their Facebook page seems to be updated regularly.
The Middleton Farms 4th Annual Fantastic Fall on the Farm begins October 6th and kicks off with their Harvest Moon Festival and Pageant. The pumpkin patch will be open to the public on October 6th, 13th, 14th and 20th. Hours of operation will vary so check their website and Facebook for updates.
Williams Family Farms

The Williams Family Farms Pumpkin Patch opens September 28th and lasts until October 28th. Admission is free for people ages 2 and under and all others can gain access to the pumpkin patch and maze for $9. The last ticket will be sold at 5:30 pm each day the farm is open. Some of the activities included this year are the maze, kids maze, hay ride, tire swings, bounce house, calf roping, slides, duck races and more.
The annual Critter Crossing Farm pumpkin patch is open on Sundays throughout the month of October from 11 am – 5 pm. Admission is free for children under 1 and for all other children, $10 (includes a pumpkin). Adults can gain admission for $8. Their activities include hay rides, a children’s corn maze, barnyard and country store. Updates will be available on their Facebook page.
